Don Everly, half of the Country Music Hall of Fame duo The Everly Brothers, passed away today (8/21) at the age of 84.

Born Isaac Donald Everly on Feb. 1, 1937 in Brownie, KY, Everly first sang with his late brother Phil and mother and father, Ike and Margaret, as The Everly Family in the 1940s. ASHVILLE – The Country Music Association held a virtual announcement this morning to reveal the 2021 inductees into the Country Music Hall of Fame – Eddie Bayers, Ray Charles, Pete Drake and The Judds. Bayers and Drake tied and will both be inducted in the “Recording and/or Touring Musician” category, which is awarded every third year in rotation with the “Non-Performer” and “Songwriter” categories.
