Tonight in Sydney, Jason Lee launches his new album.
 
The much anticipated release follows the successful advance radio single ‘A Memory’, and its impressive music video, the work of director Ross Wood. 
 
‘A Memory’ went on to chart successfully across Australia on CMC for ten weeks from late March and continued its run on radio until mid-June, producing a hit on CMR Country Tracks, CMC Top 20, and KIX Country Radio, and sitting for three weeks in number one spot on Queensland radio chart Hot Country, across the airwaves on 1611AM Emerald, Roma, Goondiwindi, St George & 1629AM in Dalby
 
‘better late than never’ is produced by Simon Johnson at Hillbilly Hut, mixed and mastered by Ted Howard at Rancom Studios in Sydney, with session musicians Trent Simonson - Drums/Percussion,  Simon Johnson - Bass Guitar ,  Glen Hannah - Acoustic/Electric Guitars,  Kym Warner – Mandolin,  Lynda Barnes and Mike Carr  – backing vocals, and individually features the exceptional talents of musicians and singers Aleyce Simmonds and The Davidson Brothers.
 
Radio 2SER 107.3fm’s Barbara Morrison scheduled in an early morning interview last Saturday for Sydney listeners, keen to hear pre launch news and insights from Jason.
 
Busy and on the run between gigs last weekend, Jason said ‘It’ a big thank you to Simon for all his hard work, and to Mike Carr also.  Great songs mate, loved the co-writing experience.’
 
A second radio release ‘up the creek’ is already in the wings – booked for August release on NfS.
