It’s a very busy week for rising country artist and Animal Planet reality show star, Lucas Hoge.  This Saturday, July 31, the Last Chance Highway dog rescue star continues on his pet advocacy path, as he finds new parents for two fuzzy friends live on the NBC Today Show.
 
“I’ll be finding homes for Tucker, a 4-month-old German Shepherd pup and Cameron, a 2-year-old Chihuahua.  Pet Rescue out of New York will be standing by taking calls from potential new parents.” says Hoge. “These guys are going to go quickly.  Lucky dogs!”
 
The national media attention doesn’t stop with the Today Show.  This week, Hoge will make stops to chat and perform on Daytime TV and The Daily Buzz, both nationally syndicated, as well as Tampa Bay’s Good Life Tampa.  Next week, Hoge stops in for a visit with Inside Edition (Inside Edition and Daytime TV segments will air on later dates).
 
In addition to starring in Animal Planet's Last Chance Highway, Hoge wrote and performed the show's opening theme song.  Last Chance Highway is an eight-part series focusing on the monumental mission of a dedicated handful of animal rescuers.  Each week, they organize a band of volunteers to take part in a unique mobile adoption campaign in an effort to find homes for strays and unclaimed shelter dogs.  Every week Hoge provides entertainment and camaraderie to cast member Kyle Peterson as they climb aboard Animal Planet’s big rig to transport more than 150 dogs thousands of miles to meet their new families.
 
Last Chance Highway airs weekly on Discovery Network’s Animal Planet every Saturday at 8 pm EST.
