About American Young: Curb recording duo, American Young, is comprised of Kristy Osmunson and Jon Stone. Osmunson was born in Idaho and raised about as country as anyone could be. She took violin lessons, both classical and in country, and toured with a Canadian fiddle group playing square dances and clogging her heart out with the rest of the ensemble. From playing the Broadway honky-tonks, co-founding the electrifying fiddle duo Bomshel, and writing the Joey + Rory hit “Cheater, Cheater,” she was well on her way as a solo artist before crossing paths with Stone. Stone is originally from Oregon and he too is country born and bred; for a while, he worked as a bull rider. The collaborative duo already claims songwriting credits for hit makers Kenny Chesney, Lee Brice, Rascal Flatts, Blake Shelton and more. They’ve both been in Nashville and have explored their options in country music before; Jon as a solo act, then a successful producer and songwriter (“Me and My Gang,” “A Woman Like You”) and Kristy as a founding member of Bomshel. In late 2013, the duo released their debut single, "Love Is War", which charted on the Country Airplay chart and led for international praise.

About Laura Oakes: Two-time winner of Best Female vocalist at the British Country Music Awards, Laura Oakes has enjoyed some of the UK’s most prestigious festivals and stages including C2C, The Great Escape, The Long Road, Liverpool Sound City, Black Deer, Cornbury Music Festival, Cambridge Folk Festival, and Camp Bestival. As well as support slots for some of the most notable talent coming out of the UK and US, including Andrew Combs, Devin Dawson, Jimmie Allen, The Shires, Sarah Darling, The Shires, The Wandering Hearts and Ward Thomas.  Her 2017 acoustic EP “Nashville Stole Your Girl” achieved number 5 in the iTunes UK Country Music Chart and received much critical acclaim, securing a session on Bob Harris’ BBC Radio 2 Country show.  In addition to hosting her own nights at the award-winning venue, The Green Note in London, most recently Laura has been working on new music, inspired by her trips to Nashville writing with some of the world’s best musicians; James T Slater (Martina McBride), Beth Nielson Chapman (Faith Hill) and Jason Lehning (Alison Krauss). Now armed with a collection of new tracks, she gears up for releasing her divine songs from October.
