Get up close and personal to the songwriters behind the songs at the Harvest Café,

16/08/2017

part of Harvest 2017 Country Music Festival, 26 & 27 August

This August festival goers will have the chance to hear from the songwriters behind the songs, when they take to the stage of the Harvest Café. The Harvest Café is just one of the four stages of Harvest 2017 Country Music Festival, taking place on 26 & 27 August and will be a great opportunity for the fans to hear the stories behind the music directly from the creators in an intimate setting, such as the famed "Bluebird Cafe" in Nashville Tennessee.

The Bluebird Café is a dynamic 90-seat music club in Nashville which is famous for intimate, acoustic music performed by its composers. On August 26th and 27th in Westport and Enniskillen, festival goers will be able to soak up some of that creative magic from Nashville’s and Ireland’s hit writers at Harvest Café where just as in The Bluebird Café in Nashville, in an intimate setting, writers will share their stories behind the hit songs. A truly inspiring experience.

The Harvest Café 2017 will feature the people behind the music with the likes of US multi #1 hit writer EARL BUD LEE famous for songs such as ‘Friends In Low Places’ (Garth Brooks), ‘Who Are You When I'm Not Looking’ (Blake Shelton) and ‘One Night at a Time’ (George Strait); DON MESCALL famous for ‘Secret Smile’ (Rascal Flatts) as well as many hits for artists such as Neal McCoy, BackStreet Boys, Boyzone and more; VICTORIA SHAW behind award-winning songs like ‘The River’ (Garth Brooks) and ‘I Love The Way You Love Me’ (John Michael Montgomery) and STEPHANIE URBINA JONES who co-wrote the #1 hit ‘My Baby’s Got a Smile on Her Face’ for The Voice USA winner, Craig Wayne Boyd.  Homegrown songwriters will also feature including JUSTIN McGURK known for his hit song “If I Could Take Your Place” a co-write with Shay Healy and Kildare’s MEGAN O’NEILL whose song ‘Don’t You’ was featured on hit TV Show Nashville.

The Harvest Café will be curated by Irish singer songwriter and two-time British Country Music Award’s (BCMA) UK Album of The Year winner PETE KENNEDY who just recently returned back to Ireland from Nashville after living in Music City where he was no stranger to The Bluebird Café having performed at the venue on a couple of occasions, and co-writing with some of Nashville’s elite writers.
