“Star Of The Show” Is The GRAMMY Nominee’s

Fastest Moving Chart-Topper and Spends Its

Second Week At No. One In Canada

NASHVILLE, TN – Feb. 06, 2017 – With "a sky-rocketing Country career” (TODAY), multi-PLATINUM Grammy nominee Thomas Rhett earns his seventh career No. One today on both the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase radio charts with the fastest-rising single of his career “Star Of The Show,” which also holds a second week in the top position on Canada’s Mediabase Country Radio Chart. From his sophomore album TANGLED UP DELUXE (The Valory Music Co.), the track was co-written by Thomas Rhett, Rhett Akins and Ben Hayslip, and is the fourth to take the top position off his PLATINUM certified release. As an ode to his wife and “undeniable muse” (Rolling Stone) Lauren, the track is additionally a family affair serving as the father/son duo's first co-write to top the radio charts.

“I was in Houston this weekend for the Super Bowl when I got the news,” said Thomas Rhett. “It made for a really fun start to the game, even though my Falcons didn’t pull through in the end! I’ve always known this song needed to have its moment, so it’s really sweet to be able to celebrate it now and with Lauren and my dad."

Thomas Rhett is "always thinking outside the box and knocking it out of the park each time” (CMT). Filled with party anthems, dance tunes, drinking songs and love ballads, the 18-track TANGLED UP DELUXE (The Valory Music Co.) also includes his 2X PLATINUM six-week chart-topping smash “Die A Happy Man,” which has garnered major trophies from the Country Music Association, Academy of Country Music, Billboard Music Awards, CMT Music Awards and is currently nominated for a GRAMMY. One of Rolling Stone’s most anticipated tours of this year just became more explosive as Thomas Rhett extends his first-ever headlining 2017 HOME TEAM TOUR kicking off Feb. 23 in Saginaw, MI. After drawing capacity crowds overseas last year, he returns as a “force to be reckoned with" (Daily Star) with plans to return to Europe while also making his debut headlining run in Canada in addition to US dates.
