Nominees for the 59th Annual Grammy Awards were announced this morning (12/6)

In the all-genre categories, Kelsea Ballerini and Maren Morris were nominated for Best New Artist and Sturgill Simpson's A Sailor's Guide To Earth for Album of the Year. The Grammys will air live Feb. 12 on CBS-TV. Country category nominees are:

"Vice" — Miranda Lambert
"My Church" — Maren Morris
"Church Bells" — Carrie Underwood
"Blue Ain't Your Color" — Keith Urban

Best Country Duo/Group Performance:

"Think Of You" – Chris Young w/Cassadee Pope

Best Country Song:

"Die A Happy Man" – Sean Douglas, Thomas Rhett & Joe Spargur, songwriters (Thomas Rhett)
"Humble And Kind" – Lori McKenna, songwriter (Tim McGraw)
"My Church" – busbee & Maren Morris, songwriters (Maren Morris)

Several country singer/songwriters were also nominated in other Grammy categories, including: "Kid Sister" – Vince Gill, songwriter (The Time Jumpers), and "Wreck You" – Lori McKenna, songwriter, Best American Roots Song. "Wreck You" was also nominated for Best American Roots Performance. The Time Jumpers' Kid Sister, Kris Kristofferson's The Cedar Creek Sessions and McKenna's The Bird & The Rifle were nominated for Best Americana Album. Additionally, the Grand Ole Opry received its first-ever Grammy nomination for American Saturday Night: Live From the Grand Ole Opry, for Best Music Film.
