CMA CELEBRATES THE INDUCTION OF THE NEWEST COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME MEMBERS

The Country Music Association created the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1961 to recognize noteworthy individuals for their outstanding contributions to the format with Country Music's highest honor. Last night, the Medallion Ceremony officially inducting Garth Brooks, Hargus "Pig" Robbins, and Connie Smith was held at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in downtown Nashville. At the reception held following the ceremony, industry leaders and artists mixed and mingled.
