CASEY DONAHEW BAND CELEBRATES A DECADE OF HITMAKING

Texas indie sensation The Casey Donahew Band is celebrating yet another milestone in the band’s impressive career this month as they marked a 10 year anniversary! Since his humble beginnings onstage at the Thirsty Armadillo in the Fort Worth Stockyards ten years ago, Casey’s appeal has continued to grow, and he now regularly sells out clubs and venues across the country from Iowa and Montana to Amarillo.
 
Armed with a guitar, a handful of tunes, and a big dream, Casey set out in 2002 to entertain crowds, just like his heroes Garth Brooks and Pat Green, and the musical spark he lit in the hearts of fans all around the country over the past 10 years continues to burn brightly today. CDB concerts are always packed with fans who sing along to every word of favorite tunes like “Stockyards,” and the irreverent “White Trash Story.”
 
As the writer of all of his own material, Casey’s way with a lyric and ability to tap straight into the heartfelt emotions of the everyman has taken him to the top of the Texas charts five times, and he’s scored back-to-back number ones on his latest CD, DOUBLE WIDE DREAM, with the title track, the heart wrenching ballad, “Let’s Not Say Goodbye Again,” and now his current single, “One Star Flag,” which is currently NUMBER ONE across the board on ALL of the Texas radio charts.
 
DOUBLE WIDE DREAM debuted on the Country iTunes Chart in the #2 spot and at #8 on the overall iTunes chart upon release.
 
The band will be celebrating this major milestone in the proper Lone Star way with a huge anniversary bash on New Year’s Eve and concert at the legendary Billy Bob’s Texas -- a venue he has already sold out three times in his career. The band has been consistently selling out venues all across the country and recently sold out every date on their run through the Mid-West, proving their broad and ever-growing appeal.
 
An avid hunter and outdoorsman, the Fort Worth native also devotes much of his time when he’s not onstage to philanthropic causes as well these days, and recently hosted the All- American Dove Hunt benefitting Camp Patriot, a facility for disabled veterans where they can renew their love of the outdoors. He also serves as a spokesperson for the Bent Rail Flip Flop line of Justin Boots, and has had a long relationship with the company.
