Country Music Association of Ireland to honour Philomena Begley.

The Country Music Association of Ireland will present an award to Ireland's Queen of Country Music Philomena Begley in recognition of her 50 years in country music at the Blackrock GAA Club, Church Road, Blackrock, Cork, on Wednesday Nov. 7th.Many of her friends in the Irish Music scene will be there to help her celebrate this momentous achievement. Music for the evening will be supplied by Hank Wedell,Ray Barron and Band.  No Cover Charge.                                                 Refreshments will be served.   Album Book of Tributes
As well as a suitably inscribed Award, we are also presenting Philomena with an album of Tributes from her many friends and fellow artists. In this respect we would appreciate a contribution from you to add to our collection.We look forward to seeing you on the night and if you are unable to attend, we hope you will send on a message for this great lady as she celebrates a milestone in her career.
