MIRANDA LAMBERT WRAPS “ON FIRE” TOUR WITH SPECIAL APPEARANCE BY PATTY LOVELESS IN ATLANTA

 Reigning CMA & ACM Female Vocalist of the Year Miranda Lambert wrapped her “On Fire” Tour last Saturday, capping a coast-to-coast tour that played to more than one million fans. The closing weekend included a special Friday night appearance by Grammy winner Patty Loveless, who joined Miranda on stage for “Dear Diamond.” Loveless also added background vocals to the recording of “Dear Diamond” which appears on Miranda’s current album, Four The Record. Miranda thanked her fans via Twitter saying, “Thanks to every person who came to see a show this year. It means the world! See ya in 2013.”
Although the tour has ended, Miranda stays on fire with a performance on the upcoming CMA Awards and nominations that include Album of the Year, Female Vocalist and Song of the Year for “Over You,” which she wrote with her husband, Blake Shelton. She also received nominations this week from the American Music Awards for Favorite Female Artist Country and the American Country Awards for Artist of the Year: Female, Single of the Year: Female for “Over You,” Touring Artist of the Year, and Music Video of the Year: Female for “Over You.”
Miranda’s latest single, “Fastest Girl In Town” continues to race up the singles chart with a move inside the Top 10. The music video, co-starring NASCAR driver Danica Patrick, also features an interactive version, available at http://www.mirandalambert.com/interactive allowing fans the groundbreaking opportunity to customize the music video experience.
