CHANNELLOCK® Presents Aaron Tippin with their 125th Anniversary pliers

Tippin was the spokesperson for CHANNELLOCK®  back in 1996. At a recent  show in Wattsburg, PA the company presented him with his own pair of TONGUE-AND-GROOVE 125th Anniversary edition pliers. CHANNELLOCK® is celebrating 125 years of innovation. The company has best-in-class products and technological innovation and it has been the essential elements of their success since 1886.

1996 Aaron was a spokesman for CHANNELLOCK® with his album Tool Box featuring the song Country Boy's Tool Box. It was during this time that Channellock had a special edition Aaron Tippin signature plier and he came to the plant for a tour. The 125 year Anniversary Plier that was given to Aaron, stands for their 125 year history. In 1886, George B. DeArment, a blacksmith from Evansburg, Pennsylvania, began hand-forging tools and selling them from town to town. 125 years and five generations of DeArments later, CHANNELLOCK® has grown to become the leader in the category, with nearly 400 employees, selling their famous pliers and tools across the country and around the world.
During the time of Aaron's rein as spokesperson for the American made company, he released the album entitled Country Boy's Tool Box. Among the songs on the album one included a ditty titled, "Ten pound Hammer". This song and the album track were very fitting for his partnership with CHANNELLOCK® tools.
