14 year old songstress, Lizzie Sider, has just released her debut single, “Butterfly,” to country radio.  The South Florida high school freshman is quickly making a name for herself in the country music world.  On one of her recent trips to Nashville Sider hosted two episodes of TCN's (The Country Network) show "Breaking Out," which showcases up and coming country artists.  The music video for “Butterfly” is currently being played on TCN and GAC (Great American Country) online.

Sider has performed at several well-known Nashville venues such as both of the Hotel Indigos locations, The Listening Room, The Red Rooster, Opry Mills Mall and Rooster’s BBQ.  This past summer she was a featured artist at the Commodore Lounge.  Along with her many Nashville appearances (which will include the Bluebird Café in early 2013), Sider has also opened for Jamie O’Neal and Aaron Tippi and recently was an ambassador of country music to the Big Apple, performing at the world famous Waldorf Astoria for Couture Fashion Week in New York City.

Sider’s love of music and theater developed in the small town of Jackson, WY, where she has spent the greater part of each summer since she was born. She spent early childhood summers looking up to the actors and actresses at the Jackson Hole Playhouse, a community theater. It was there that she saw her first musical, Annie Get Your Gun, at age four.  Sider went on to participate in children’s shows at the playhouse, eventually working her way into the main show.

This fall finds Sider juggling school and numerous live performances, including multiple appearances at The Southern Women’s Show, Citrus Stampede Rodeo and a scheduled opening slot for CMA Duo of the Year nominee, Big & Rich.
