Republic Nashville’s rising country rock duo Florida Georgia Line was on fire last week headlining five consecutive SOLD-OUT shows across the mid-west and are on deck for their upcoming shows to be advance sell-outs. FGL fans attended the shows at Tin Roof Lexington (9/25), Tin Roof Cincinnati (9/26), Tin Roof Indianapolis (9/27), Joe’s Bar Chicago (9/28) and Bridge View Center Ottumwa (9/29).

For any new artist to sell out a show at Joe’s in advance is a rare milestone. The popular venue’s owner Ed Warm exclaimed, “WOW!! Joe's hasn't had a brand new band on their first single sell out in advance since 2005, and Florida Georgia Line sold out 6 weeks in advance!  FGL delivered 90 minutes of in your face country to a rowdy crowd that knew every word to every song!”

Monroe, Georgia’s Tyler Hubbard and Ormond Beach, Florida’s Brian Kelley’s energetic live show and compelling tunes have garnered them a coveted spot on the 11th annual CMT ON TOUR with headliner Jake Owen, which will kick off in New York on October 10.  Their impressive touring credits include headlining shows and previous nationwide dates opening for Brantley Gilbert and the annual Country Throwdown tour.

Since releasing their Top 20 single, “Cruise,” FGL has been garnering enormous buzz with recent shout-outs from Superstars Taylor Swift, Keith Urban and Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles. With infectious lyrics and a buoyant melody, the single has sold well over 500,000 copies and has been certified GOLD in Canada. The song is also listed in the Top 10 for sales in many major markets and sits – with the video – in the Top 5 nationally on iTunes Country Charts.  They bring a fresh sound to the genre and beyond, combining electrifying, hard-driving rock with honest, expressive lyrics. “Cruise” is featured on their EP It’z Just What We Do produced by Joey Moi (Jake Owen, Nickelback).
