The Queen of Bluegrass Rhonda Vincent, along with her band The Rage hold the title for the Most Awarded Band in Bluegrass Music with over 80 awards, and the nominations keep coming!

The International Bluegrass Music Association recently announced Rhonda Vincent as a nominee for the 2012 Female Vocalist of the Year. An award Vincent has won an unprecedented 7 consecutive years in 2000 – 2006. Rhonda’s fiddle player, Hunter Berry, also received a nomination for the 2012 Fiddle Player of the Year.

In addition to the IBMA nominations, Rhonda Vincent received her first nomination for Inspirational Bluegrass Artist of the Year from the Inspirational Country Music Awards held in Nashville, TN on October 18, 2012 at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center.

This is especially exciting following her first all-gospel release Sunday Mornin’ Singin’ LIVE! on Upper Management Music which debuted at #2 on the Billboard Bluegrass Charts.

“We just returned from our most extensive Canadian Tour to learn about all these exciting nominations,” Rhonda states, “Just when we thought this year couldn’t get any better!” “We are honored and humbled by this recognition of our hard work in a field of music we hold so dear.”

Rhonda & The Rage are looking forward to the release of their all-gospel DVD which companions their chart topping gospel CD and includes 9 additional songs.

In addition to her first all-gospel CD & DVD and a rigorous 2012 tour schedule, Rhonda will also be in the TV studio filming new episodes of Country’s Family Reunion, Larry’s Country Diner, Presley’s Country Theater, and her first appearance on Gilley’s out of Branson, Missouri.

Rhonda Vincent & The Rage have been deemed the hardest working band in bluegrass. They continue one of the busiest tour schedules of any genre of music.
