Labor Day weekend at SOSMP Aug. 30- Sept. 3 includes a huge fireworks show!

Children’s activities, free hot dogs for the kids and much more along with Justin Case Band rocking the house all weekend in the Music Hall. SPIRIT OF THE SUWANNEE MUSIC PARK, LIVE OAK, FLA - Labor Day weekend, Aug. 31-Sept. 3, is the last holiday of the summer so make plans now to be at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park (SOSMP) in Live Oak, Fla where there will be fireworks brought to you by the SOSMP and B & B Food Stores, the Justin Case Band will entertain all weekend in the Music Hall, along with kids’ activities, free hot dogs for kids and fun all weekend long! A huge fireworks show is planned for Saturday night, Sept. 1, at dark where you can join with hundreds who will gather to experience this spectacular event on the grounds of the SOSMP. Be sure you and your family are among those attending.  

Make your reservations quickly to primitive camp, rent a cabin or park your camper or RV at the beautiful Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park and Campground for the long weekend. During the weekend there will be kids’ games and other activities along with free hotdogs for the kids. Admission for day visitors is $10 per carload per day and includes the kids’ activities, fireworks and admission to the Music Hall Friday and Saturday night.

One of the most popular bands in North Florida, The Justin Case Band, will take the stage Friday, Aug. 31, and Saturday, Sept.1, in the Music Hall to bring great traditional country, Southern country, rock n’ roll and more in music for your listening and dancing pleasure. Be sure to pack those dancing shoes and plan to stay late!

While you’re at the SOSMP, plan to visit the Crafts Village and Store of the Village where you’ll find shopping a pleasure with treasures awaiting your arrival. After enjoying a delicious ice cream cone, shake or banana split while sitting in the rockers on the front porch of the store, play a little disc golf or mini golf, ride bicycles or rent a golf cart and tour the entire 800 plus acres of the park that sits along the banks of the famous Suwannee River. If you’re still hungry, check out the SOS Café or in the evenings enjoy music, dancing and great food in the SOS Café and Restaurant inside the Music Hall. Doors open to the Music Hall at 6 p.m. and shows begin Friday and Saturday night at 8 p.m. The SOS Café and deck seating area is open from breakfast Thursday - Monday until the Music Hall opens.

If you arrive early, you may want to check out Ted “Eddy Mac Elvis” McMullen, one of the best Elvis Tribute Artists in America, who will be in the house Thursday, Aug. 30, with his ever popular karaoke night. You will have a blast. Just bring your own tracks if you want to perform or Teddy Mac Elvis may just have the track you need! Music Hall doors open at 5 p.m. and shows begin at 7 p.m. when Teddy Mac Elvis is in the house

The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park is located at 3076 95th Drive 4.5 miles north of Live Oak, Fl off US 129 at the famous Suwannee River. The park is 4.5 miles south of Interstate 75 and 4.5 miles north of Interstate 10 off US 129. Keep an eye out for the SOSMP sign and white painted board fence!
