CMA EDU and Country Singing Sensation Beth Cayhall Premiers Debut Music Video

22/08/2012

Country’s latest powerhouse vocalist Beth Cayhall follows the success of her debut single, Boys Eat Your Hearts Out, with her official music video premiering tomorrow, Tuesday, August 21st.

Beth has chosen to partner with the education-based program, CMA EDU to help film and direct her video. While all students were recognized and awarded by the CMA EDU program, member Kevin Scott Page was chosen as the final director.

“It’s been an honor to be a part of this program,” says Beth. “What a great way for students to get an up-close and hands-on experience to direct and shoot a music video for an artist.  I am thrilled with the result and I can’t wait for everyone to see it!”

Already blasting through radio speakers nationwide, the video will showcase Beth’s spunky and girl-power attitude, as well her commanding stage presence. Fans can look for the video to premiere tomorrow, August 21st exclusively on her YouTube page (www.youtube.com/bcayhall). Be sure to stay tuned for Beth’s cable spotlight, as the video is also set to be released to The Country Network, GAC and CMT.

Beth met with up with Sarah McGrady, Strategic Partnerships for the Country Music Association (CMA) to talk about the process and the release of the video. Check out the footage by going to http://youtu.be/U-HKvnFOHWA.

Boys Eat Your Hearts Out is off her highly anticipated debut album Worth Fighting For, which is available on iTunes, Amazon, and CDBaby.  This coastal Delaware native co-wrote all but two of the songs on the album, teaming up with writers such as Dave Robbins and Lonnie Wilson. She worked with Grammy-nominated producer Kent Wells to highlight her fresh, upbeat approach to classic country music. This effervescent gal is loaded with talent, ambition, and savvy style as she participated during the week of CMA Music Festival and has been featured as CMA’s Featured Artist to Watch in 2012 as well as the Debut Spotlight Featured Artist in the July/August issue of CMA Close Up.
