“Cowboy and Angels” - the sweeping, lyrical epic written by Lynch alongside GRAMMY-winning songwriter Tim Nichols and chart-topping songwriter/ producer Josh Leo, continues to rise up both the Billboard and Mediabase Country Songs charts, landing at #12 this week.

Last week, Lynch jumped to #1 on the MTV Music Meter (officially making him the #1 most buzzed-about artist across all genres), rested in the Top 5 of the Billboard Heatseekers Songs Chart (all genres) and debuted on Nashville Lifestyles magazine’s annual “Hot List.” Lynch is the ONLY solo male artist featured in the August issue’s “2012 Hot List” and is in good company alongside Country stars Little Big Town and Top 40 hit makers Hot Chelle Rae.

Also this past week, Lynch’s West Coast run of headlining shows were sell-outs and at-capacity shows in high-profile markets including San Jose, Sacramento, San Diego and Portland.  Additionally, the rising star’s headlining show also sold out Bakersfield’s legendary Crystal Palace.

Dustin Lynch also recently earned his first #1 when, “Cowboys and Angels,” became the #1 CMT Ringtone.  “Cowboys and Angels” continues to grow on the sales chart with over 422,000 downloads sold to-date and is quickly nearing GOLD Sales Status.

The rising star, who has also been named People Country’s “Fresh Face of 2012” and “One to Watch” by Country Weekly, has earned over 4 million views on YouTube/ VEVO.

Produced by Brett Beavers (Dierks Bentley)and Luke Wooten (Brad Paisley), the self-titled debut album will include 13 tracks – 10 of which were written or co-written by Lynch.

Lynch’s distinctively deep, emotional vocals are showcased throughout the album – an album that embodies his unique perspectives growing up and people watching in the small town of Tullahoma, TN.  As both an artist and songwriter, Lynch was greatly influenced in his youth by the famed “Class of ‘89” comprised of such stalwart country singers as Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks and Clint Black.

From stories about small town life and escaping from the rat race, to crackerjack up-tempo party anthems, to songs about young love, first times and unrequited heartbreak, Dustin Lynch’s self-titled debut album tells a universal story from start to finish.

After his headlining show at tonight’s Williamson County Fair in Franklin, TN, Lynch heads back out on the road for a string of dates including:
