 While Labor Day may be just around the corner, the summer will continue to sizzle for music fans as hit producer and songwriter, Phoenix Stone, is set to release his debut country single, '100 Proof Moonshine,' to radio on September 10th. This project has been a long time coming for Stone, an industry vet who has worked alongside everyone from Art Garfunkel to newcomer, Liana Conway, to the platinum-selling boy band, The Backstreet Boys. After landing deals with Warner/Chappell Nashville and Universal Records as a teenager, Stone opted to put his own solo career on the back burner but never lost sight of eventually making an album on his own terms.
 
"With country music, you've got to have lived a little and had the life experiences that you sing about," this Florida native explains. "With a wealth of experiences in hand, I am now ready to return to my roots."
 
Phoenix Stone is embracing the country-rock direction he first demonstrated on the inspirational charity single, 'Proud to Be (Born Again American).' Commissioned by legendary television producer Norman Lear and produced by country hit-maker James Stroud, this track reached the Top 15 on the Country/Christian charts with Stone donating 100% of the proceeds to American Veterans and the non-profit Declare Yourself.
 
'100 Proof Moonshine' returns Stone to Music City, and this time he's ready for the challenge. After calling upon Nashville's hottest musicians, this southern country stylist has proudly created a unique sound that blends the soulful grooves of the Allman Brothers and the traditional values of Hank with the rockin' contemporary production of Jason Aldean. His debut country album can be expected in early 2013.

PHOENIX STONE is an acclaimed singer-songwriter, founding member of the Backstreet Boys, and Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of STONEHALL Entertainment, a full-service entertainment firm represented by Creative Artists Agency. STONEHALL includes a record label, a publishing company (a joint venture with Rondor/Universal), a management company that represents record producers and a television division, which has created shows for Disney's Touchstone an a pair of pilots for MTV Networks. Stone is also President of his own joint venture label with Columbia Records.
