JB and the Moonshine Band has released the music video for their latest single, “No Better Than This,” which was filmed at Percy Priest Lake in Nashville, TN. This is the second single released from the album Beer For Breakfast, and the follow-up to the Texas No. 1 title track.Lead singer for the band, JB Patterson, co-wrote the single with Chris Janson and Brandon Kinney. The video, directed by David Poag, features Paige Duke and Jeremiah James Korfe from CMT’s hit reality series “Sweet Home Alabama.” The fun-loving video has made its world premiere on CMT Pure and CMT.com just in time for summer. Influenced by everyone from country royalty like Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash, to the rockers of Metallica and hip hop legend Tupac, JB and the Moonshine Band displays a gritty mix of mainstream contemporary country tempered with an appropriate dose of honesty.
The band’s debut album, Ain’t Goin Back to Jail, premiered in September of 2010. The album produced three Top 20 singles on the Texas Country Radio Charts including, “Perfect Girl,” “Whiskey Days,” and “Love Don’t Let You Decide.” With over 60,000 digital downloads and an average of 1,500 downloads per week there are no signs of slowing down. Since their debut to radio, JB and the Moonshine Band has had over three Top 10 songs to date (TEXAS Country Radio Charts).
