Allan & Ashcraft Down The Country Line THIS SATURDAY

15/06/2012

This Saturday Allan & Ashcraft along with four other great groups will take the stage at the historic Embassy Theatre in Fort Wayne, IN to pay homage to their heroes. Tickets are only $12 and can be purchased from the Embassy Box Office or at www.ticketmaster.com

This is a chance to see Allan & Ashcraft at the beautiful Embassy Theatre, few venues can compare to this gem in Fort Wayne. This is also a benefit concert for the Embassy Theatre so please help us insure the Embassy will continue to provide the concerts we love to attend for years to come. Also, this is an ALL AGES SHOW, so bring the whole family!

We chose the pay homage to Kenny Chesney because of the impact his music has had on our lives and so many others. His music really strikes a chord with the listener on many levels. He has had many "feel good" songs that just about every country fan can sing word for word and we love those songs, but there's also another side of Kenny Chesney's music that is sometimes overlooked and that's the more introspective and sometimes melancholy songs he has wrote and recorded. He's a sincere artist who has always stayed true to his roots and we really admire that and think many other country fans do as well.

Allan & Ashcraft will be performing some of Kenny Chesney's "feel good" songs that have become anthems in country music, but in addition to that we are starting off with an acoustic set of some of his more delicate music that is sometimes forgotten. Expect to hear everything from "You & Tequila" to "You Save Me" as well as an original song from our first EP that was produced by Kenny Chesney's lead guitarist Kenny Greenberg in Nashville.

We hope people leave the concert with a greater awareness of the depth in Kenny Chesney's music and also a smile on their face from singing the lyrics to the songs they all know by heart. Kenny has several songs that fall into that category. We consider this a great honor not only performing Kenny Chesney's music but performing at The Historic Embassy Theatre. Hubie Ashcraft saw the Legendary Willie Nelson perform at the Embassy as a kid. It's a combination of a great artist in a beautiful venue like the Embassy that really has an impact on your life. That's the power of music.

Be sure to tune in tomorrow morning at 9a.m. to US 93.3fm in Fort Wayne, IN to hear a sneak peak live on the air from Allan & Ashcraft's Down the Country Line set and an interview about their latest single "Let's Get Gone".
